We are so excited that Summer Swim Team season is here!

We have some BIG announcements:

1) Land Practices on the Brittany field begin Monday May 5th through Thursday May 8th. This is where kids & the coaches play games to get to know each other (or re-familiarize) and do conditioning exercises to get ready for swimming. Below is the age-group schedule:

6 & under: 6:00 - 6:30 p.m.

7 & 8: 6:30 - 7:00 p.m.

9 & 10: 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

11 & over: 7:30 - 8:00 p.m.

2) In-Pool practice starts Monday May 12th. Practice will be held at the Hampton Hall pool due to the construction finishing up at Brittany. We will practice at Hampton Hall the week of Monday May 12th - Thursday May 15th AND Monday May 19th - Thursday May 22nd. We are working to finalize the practice times for each age group during these two weeks. Stay tuned for more information in the next few days.

3) There will be a Swim Team Parent meeting on Tuesday May 13th from 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m via Zoom. Please RSVP here so we know who to expect. We highly encourage all NEW and "new-ish" swim team families to attend this meeting to understand the flow of the season, Swimtopia, how meets work, and key dates.

4) Our Practice Swim Meet is Sunday May 18th. Warmups begin at 2:30 pm at Hampton Hall. The meet will start at 3 pm. This is a shorter meet, 2 hours max.

4) A friendly reminder, the coaches will be using the Brittany Club text message platform to send any important updates to parents throughout the season (e.g. weather cancellations or delays). If you registered for Swim team prior to 4/16 and signed up for Brittany text messages earlier this year, you're all set. If you didn't sign up for Brittany text messages, we encourage you to do so to be aware of these updates. Let us know if you need help with this!

5) Swim Team t-shirts & swim caps will be distributed later this month, closer to the timing of the first meet.
