Parents,

Please read this email thoroughly. No matter how long your child has been on swim team, this meet at Georgetown will operate differently. Please read carefully and mark your schedules accordingly as this will be a hybrid meet to allow for better crowd control and spacing!

Meet Address: 1465 Old Spring House Lane, Dunwoody, GA 30338

Parking for Meet: We can park in the small lot, if there are spaces available. For street parking, they only allow parking on the right side of the driveway leading into the pool area—that will be marked. They ask that families park only on the south side of Old Springhouse Lane and along the grass along Old Georgetown Trail to allow for emergency vehicle access.

Meet Format: Georgetown is planning for a meet where the 10 & unders swim and leave before the 11 and ups have their meet (hybrid approach).

Meet Arrival Time & Warm Ups: 

• 10 & unders: report to pool by 4:30pm; warm ups 4:45-5:00
• 11 & up: report to the pool at 6:30pm, warm ups will start around 7pm

Meet Start & End Times:

• 10 & unders: start at 5pm; should end around 7ish
• 11 & up: start at 7:30pm; should be done around 9pm

Team Area: 

• Brittany will be on the right side of the pool area between the baby pool and the diving board

Concessions: 

• They will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, Chic Fil A, yogily mogily, chips, soda, sports drinks, water, candy, etc.

Volunteers:

• We have A LOT more volunteer positions that need to be filled --bull pen workers, timers, etc. PLEASE sign up!
• Bekah Carrington is our Volunteer Coordinator this year. Check in with her before the start of the meet to get your clipboard, timers, and volunteer badges.

Mask policy:

• Georgetown asks parents who aren't vaccinated to wear masks, esp if timing or working the bullpen. Masks are not necessary if you are vaccinated.
